About this Course

At The Intersection is a course for white femmes and thems to help them dismantle internalized white supremacy. There will be a lot of accountability work in this group: identifying problematic behaviors, confronting & dismantling them, practicing holding & ceding space, sitting in discomfort, stopping self-victimization, and moving into empowered co-conspiratorship. The first session of At The Intersection features Ruby Hamad’s White Tears|Brown Scars: How White Feminism Betrays Women of Color. The next book in the series will be The Trouble with White Women by Kyla Schuller.

“The goal is to help white women specifically (and those socialized a white women) be able to spot when "feminism" is just upholding white supremacist patriarchy and to make their practice intersectional—because actually practicing intersectional feminism dismantles systems of oppression.”
